African Studies: Language, Arts, Philosophy, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
Students will obtain 180 ECTS over six semesters. The B.A. programme seeks to give insights into language, art and philosophy on the African continent. Students in later semesters will be able to specialize in one field by chosing a fitting advanced seminar and thesis topic.
Every B.A. student will also obtain fundamental language skills in an African language of their choosing (Arabic, Bambara, Swahili, Wolof).

African Studies: Language, Arts, Philosophy, Master of Arts (M.A.)
Students will obtain 120 ECTS over the course of four semesters. The M.A. programme offers deeper insights into language, art and philosophy on the African continent. Students will be able to specialize early on through the choice of compulsory elective classes.
Every M.A. student will also obtain fundamental language skills in an African language of their choosing (Arabic, Bambara, Swahili, Wolof).
