The following steps enable you to participate in the language courses:

Register for the respective language course via CMlife (October 19th 2022 at 08.00  - October 30th 2022 at 23.59)
Register on the e-learning platform (moodle) for the course you have chosen

Please note that all language courses begin in the 2nd week commencing 24 October 2022.

Further important information regarding the language courses:

• G1/G3 of Bambara, Hausa, Swahili: these courses always take place during the term (weekly; lecture times are fixed).
  
  
•  G2/G4 of Bambara, Hausa, Swahili: these courses always take place en bloc during the term break (two-week intense course taking place daily; lecture times will be announced/arranged during the G1/G3 course); please consult your lecturers. 
  
  
• Passing the written exams: you have to score above 50% in order to pass; for repeating the exam it is vital to consult your lecturer directly. 
  
  
•  After failing a language course (including the repeat exam), the next language course can only be started the following year. 
  
  
•  Please take this into account for your individual study planning because the successful completion of six language course modules (C1-C6) is part of the BA and MA AVVA
